PE days:
Our PE days are Wednesday and Thursday, children will need to wear their PE kit on these days.
Kit consists of black shorts or joggers and a white t shirt. If needed children can also wear a black hoody. These should be plain without logos.
Home Learning
Homework will be set on a Friday and is expected in on the following Wednesday.
Reading:
We ask that children read three times per week (as a minimum) to an adult, with their reading journal signed by an adult to acknowledge this.
Maths:
Maths homework is completed in CGP Maths Workout books. Children should be completing one workout per week.
Spelling:
Spelling lists will be sent home weekly. Children will have a spellling test weekly based on these words.

Times Tables
The Multiplication Tables Check (MTC) is a key stage 2 assessment to be taken by pupils at the end of year 4 (in June). The purpose of the MTC is to make sure the times tables knowledge is at the expected level. Children will answer 25 questions with times tables up to 12x12 under timed conditions.

Our Current Text for English
Autumn 1 - Arts Unit
Our first topic is an Arts unit. Within this unit, we will explore the orchestra, including the different families and graphic score, in our Music lessons. As artists, we will develop our sculpting techniques, using Barbara Hepworth as inspiration. As designers, we will be creating a designing a slingshot car.
