Autumn - The Fox and The Star
For the first four weeks of the half term, we will be following a whole school approach to the story ‘The Fox and the Star’ which is an inspiring story by Coralie Bickford-Smith, which follows the journey of a Fox as he starts to believe in himself and make new friends. We will be using this in class to develop a variety of skills across the curriculum. Throughout the term, we will be creating some Van Gogh inspired artwork, looking at different habitats and types of trees in the local environment. Furthermore, the whole school will be using this text to help develop social, emotional and general well-being skills.
